Sasha, Born Yetunde Anthonia Alabi, stands immaculate, radiant, tall and rips the mic with much fervour. Much has been written, arguments have ensued and doubts have been cast. Going from award nominations to stage dominations, she has been unanimously crowned the Queen of Nigerian Rap; With Many Albums and singles to her credit and thrilling Nigerians with her own kind of music, this award winning Artiste sure is one to be reckoned with. Sasha's Lyrics are not the run-of-the-mill ones, as she's got songs about love, prostitution, AIDS, and a lot of other insightful topics. She also infuses some Yoruba and pidgin which give her songs a unique ethnic feel to it.
Bouqui Real Name Bukola Folayan is the New Kid on the block. Bouqui started her professional career with an all girl group called G-Vibes several years ago before going solo and changing her focus and style to suit urban contemporary Nigeria. Adding to her cap of achievements, Bouqui won the AMEN awards in 2007 for best female act. More than being lyrically competent, Bouqui is a brilliant songwriter, arranger, performer and a strong advocate of self actualization. Most importantly, Bouqui is a crusader for Christ and a disseminator of his gospel of salvation.
